Q: What can CAWLI do for a family who wants to make a return trip to China?

A:  CAWLI has great coordinators both in the US and in China.  We can arrange your international trip all travel in China including the Social Welfare Institute visit and finding site visit.

Q:  Which season is better to visit China?

A: China is vast area, it is hard to say which season is best for travel.  In China, May 1st and other long holidays usually have many people travelling, you are better not to travel during these days as hotels and gate fees are very expensive.  So, April and after May 8th, June, July and September as well as October (after the 8th), are very nice times to travel in China.  December and January can be a bit cold in the North of China, but, even in winter, the South os China is not very cold.

Q: How would the family be able to arrange a visit to the Social Welfare Institute?

A: Visiting the orphanage must be approved by the Provincial Government of the Province where the Social Welfare Instutue is located.  You will be requested to provide documentation to CAWLI and we will submit the application for your family and notify you once we get approval for your visit.

Q: How much will a return trip cost us?

A:  2 adult + 1 child, 14 days, 4 cities, with one room can cost about $7,000.  This amount can change depending on the exchange rate, etc.

Q: Can just one family travel? Can we bring other friends along?

A: Sure!  We are able to arrange travel for one family, or for a family with friends.
