Chinese Adopted Siblings Program for Youth at Yale University
The Chinese Adopted-Sibs Program for Youth (CASPY) was conceived at Yale University in Spring 2002 as a community outreach program for families with adopted Chinese children in the Tri-State area. Through this program, we hope to address post-adoption issues by establishing a special relationship with adopted children and their families while sharing Chinese/Taiwanese culture with them. Twice a year, we organize a fun and educational day on the Yale University campus, for both the children and their parents. Each adopted child is paired with a Chinese or Taiwanese American undergraduate student to create a sibling-like relationship.
